Pokémon Games

Pokémon- how did we get into it? Well, first we saw commercials. "Pokémon! Gotta catch 'em all!" And then somebody sucks 'em up with a vacuum. Our initial reaction: "Huh?"

One day at day camp, we saw the other kids playing it, and thought it looked fascinating. Saw an episode- thought it was fascinating. Got a Yellow game- stunk at it. I was too paranoid to catch anything, and I kept stupidly trying to beat Brock with my Pikachu. You do not know how emotionally manipulative Pikachu's fainting cry is. Pikachu- "Pikaaaaa...!" Me- "Noooooooo!!!"

Anyway, it was through Pokémon that we were introduced to Roms. This one site had a small download page that said something along the lines of: "Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal (75% English!)". We thought, "What's this? You can download Pokémon games?" Thanks to an anonymous helper (who has currently shut himself off from all communication via e-mail), we found a page with all the Pokémon games. This page is rather redundant considering how many sites have all these, but it's mainly for completeness' sake.

Red & Blue

The original classics! If you're a fan, we don't need to describe these.

Green

...And here's the one that didn't make it overseas.

Yellow

Pika! The game that introduced us to Pokémonn.

Gold & Silver

And thus Pokémon came to GBC. Wee!

Crystal

The standard sequel to the first duo, starring Suicune.

Pokémon Pinball

A cute little spin-off.

Pokémon Puzzle Challenge

One of the weirdest of the spin-offs, a lot like all puzzle games, but seriously addicting.

Pokémon TCG & TCG2

The most famous of the spin-offs, and the Japanese sequel that never came to the US. (Includes a partially translated version.)

Christmas Diglett
